We were delighted to welcome Llais Cymru into the school this week, to meet with learners from our PARCH, UNDOD, SSCE, and Young Carer groups, along with representatives from the School Council.
The groups discussed issues around health and social care in Pencoed and Bridgend, including topics such as NHS waiting times, dentist appointments, and CAMHS waiting lists.
Learners also put forward suggestions for inclusive waiting rooms in GP surgeries, to support patients with additional learning needs. Additionally, they fed back about their own experiences with health and social care services.
