We are incredibly proud of our learners, Riley and Macey, who are Young Ambassadors for Velindre. Today, they are walking nearly 16 miles to Velindre Cancer Centre, from Pencoed; that’s further than a half-marathon!
As part of ‘Wear Red for Velindre’, they are raising funds to support support cancer pateients and their families. This includes resources for young children, such as memory boxes and ‘worry teddies’, as well as age appropriate story books to help explain what cancer is.
