On Friday 13th December, Pencoed Comprehensive School will be hosting our 6th Form Christmas Fayre and taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. We’re asking families, where possible, to donate £1 (or however much they can give) through the Pencoed Comprehensive School, Save the Children, Just Giving page link: https://www.justgiving.com/page/pencoed-comprehensive-1732876463050
All the money raised will go to support children in the UK and around the world. By taking part we’ll be helping children who don’t have the basics they need to survive – like food, school or medicine – to start seeing the magic in the world again.
Students are expected to wear full school uniform but can replace their black school jumper with a Christmas jumper. Our Pencoed Pre-loved has some Christmas jumpers at no cost. They will be on a clothes rack in main reception, Monday to Thursday of this week (Monday December 9th – Thursday December 12th), from 3:30-4:00pm. Please feel free to pop in. Alternatively, phone the Wellbeing Hub or email HereToHelp@pencoedcs.bridgend.cymru and we can arrange for you to collect a jumper or give it to your child to bring home.
Our 6th form will be running our Christmas Fayre on Friday and every year group will have a chance to experience this Christmas tradition. Students can bring in cash to use in our Christmas Fayre to spend on a range of stalls, treats and games, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
We appreciate your support to make Pencoed Comprehensive School’s Christmas Fayre and Christmas Jumper Day a success.
